Chapter 1- Ami Falls In Love

Unlike MOST of my fanfics, this one is very serious. It's somewhat based on

an actual event that happened to someone I know.

It's rated R, due to some course language and scenes. The story takes place

during Sailormoon SuperS (my favorite season!). I hope you enjoy this fic.

PLEASE e-mail any comments, suggestions, etc. I always finish a fic once I

know I have fans waiting for the next chapters. Anyway enough of my begging

" I'm sooo excited!" squealed Usagi, " I can't believe we are all

going to spend the night at Mamoru's cabin. It's gonna be sooo fun!!" She

tried doing up her TOO packed knapsack. Tonight the girls (inner senshi) plus

a few other friends of Mamoru's were going to spend the night at Mamoru's

lake-side cabin. The girls were all at Rei's house putting last minute

luggage into their bags. Usagi and Minako both had two full knapsacks of

luggage and they were both working on a third.

" Usagi- chan, Minako-chan," spoke up Ami," I don't believe you will

need all those clothes. After all we are only staying for one night." She

placed a physics textbook into her neatly packed luggage bag. Ami was a

little nervous about tonight. Mamoru was going to have some of his old

college friends there, which were complete strangers to her. Plus she wanted

to stay home and study for her physics tests, which was 2 weeks away!

" No no!! Ami-chan!" exclaimed Makoto. She took Ami's textbook from

her bag.

"You shouldn't study during the trip. Loosen up and have some fun.

Check out the guys, go swimming, do something fun." Ami blushed a little.

She hated it when her friends told her to "loosen up & have some fun". Ami

always felt awkward at parties or shopping her with her friends and

especially awkward when they started talking about guys they liked.

Ami didn't know why she felt this way. She loved all her friends, but at the

same time envied them all. For insentience Ami didn't like the way Usagi had

so many friends and was destined to be the queen of Crystal Tokyo. Usagi, who

never tried in school would get to be Queen. Not to mention the odango head

already had a nice, handsome boyfriend which would some day be her husband.

Ami also envied Minako because she was so pretty and great at sports. She

envied Rei because she was spiritual and brave to speak her mind. Makoto was

envied because of her great cooking. Ami couldn't even cook Kraft Dinner that

well.

Ami tried to push these strange feelings out of her mind. Tonight she

would try to have fun for her friends sake at least. But still she took along

a few school books.

" Wow what a beautiful place!" exclaimed Rei. Yuuchirou had drove the

girls to the cabin, which was located not far outside of Tokyo. Rei was

right, the scenery was beautiful. There were lots of trees and a huge lake

nearby Mamoru's large cabin. The girls waved a good-bye to Yuuichirou and

headed towards the cabin.

" Mamo-chan!" yelled Usagi. She ran into Mamoru's arms. You would

think she had went years without seeing him instead of just a couple of

hours.

" Where's your friends, Mamoru?" asked Makoto.

Mamoru pointed behind the cabin.

" They're out back. We are just about to have a BBQ. I hope you girls

are hungry."

" I'm starving, Mamo-chan!" wailed Usagi.

" Don't whine so loud Usagi," said Minako," You don't want to make

those guys think we are weird or something. Who knows, they are probably

quite handsome since they are friends with Mamoru."

" Are you trying to take my Mamo-chan from me by saying he's

handsome. Back off Minako! Mamo-chan's mine." Usagi grabbed Mamoru's arm and

held tight.

Before Usagi and Minako could start a fight, Mamoru kissed Usagi and

told her that Minako was just interested in meeting his friends, not in him.

This seemed to satisfy Usagi. Mamoru told the girls to go out back while he

put their luggage inside.

In the backyard the girls were making themselves at home. Usagi was

pigging out on hotdogs and hamburgers (which were being cooked by the cook

herself, Makoto). Rei was telling a few guys about her temple (they seemed to

be paying more attention to Rei than to the pamphlets she was showing them).

Minako had joined in on a game of volleyball, which her team was winning.

Only Ami stood back from the group a little.

She sat underneath an apple tree and watched the others. She couldn't

understand why she was always so shy and uncomfortable around people. The

other girls were socializing with these stranger guys and having fun. Ami

wished she could go home.

Just then Ami noticed a guy talking to Mamoru and pointing at her!

Ami blushed and looked away. She hoped that when she looked back the guy

would stop looking and pointing at her. But when she did look again, it was

even worse. The guy was walking towards her!

" Hi there!" the guy said in a cheerful, friendly voice. He picked

two apples from the tree and handed one to Ami.

" I couldn't help notice you over here. Have you had any BBQ yet.

That friend of yours, Mako-chan, is an awesome cook. Oh sorry I forgot to

introduce myself." The guy stuck out his hand to Ami " My name's Alex Grant"

" I'm Ami Mizuno"

They shook hands. Ami got a good look at Alex. He wasn't really

handsome, but he looked okay. He was a little overweight with dark hair and

glasses. Ami wondered why he was talking with her instead of hanging with the

other girls. Granted the other girls wouldn't be interested in him. They

would think he looked too fat of nerdy. Ami thought he was nice. Ami liked

guys that had brains more than beauty. This Alex guy seemed to be like Urawa.

As Ami and him talked, She discovered he was also very good at school and had

just got his bachelor's in marine science. He had been buddies with Mamoru

ever since they were in high school. Ami explained she wasn't good at sports

and that's why she wasn't playing volleyball. Alex got up and held his hand

for her.

" Come on Ami-chan," he said," It doesn't matter if you aren't good

at something as long as you try. I'll play volleyball too and maybe I can

help you improve your sports skills." Ami couldn't picture Alex being into

sports (he was a heavy guy), but oh well she was tired of just sitting on the

ground. Plus Alex seemed like a nice guy.

The evening went by quickly. Alex hung around Ami the whole time. Ami

was having the most fun she had ever had in her whole life. Alex was such a

fun guy. Pretty soon Usagi was whispering about Ami being in love. Mamoru

took Usagi aside and told her not embarrass Ami and spread rumors.

" I couldn't eat another marshmallow," Usagi exclaimed. The group had

made a camp fire and were roasting marshmallows. Usagi had eaten 13

marshmallows before she realized she was getting sick of them. Rei pulled the

marshmallow skin off her marshmallow (she didn't like the skin, I don't blame

her), and flung it at Usagi. Of course this started a fight.

" Why don't we all go for a moonlight swim?" suggested a friend of

Mamoru's named John. The moonlight did look beautiful on the water and they

decided a swim would be a good idea.

" I hate to be a party pooper," spoke up Ami, " But I'm rather tired.

I think I'll settle in for the night and read a while before going to bed."

" Okay Ami-chan," replied Minako," You went all day without studying,

so I guess you deserve a break." She smiled at Ami then turned back to the

others, "Okay guys, last one to the lake is a low youma!" They ran and Usagi

fell half way. Of course this caused her to get to the lake last, which made

her the low youma. Everyone still had their bathing suit on under their

clothes from during the day.

Ami felt cozy in her bottom bunk bed. Rei had the bunk at the top.

All the girls shared a room with bunk beds and all the guys shared a room

with bunk beds. Altogether 20 beds were being used that night. Ami tried to

study her physics, but she couldn't seem to stop thinking about Alex. He was the first

guy who seemed right for her. He seemed so nice and sweet, Ami knew she was

in love.

Just then the door creaked open. It was Alex!

" Hi Ami-chan," He sat on the bottom bunk across from Ami (Usagi's

bunk).

" You never went swimming" Ami quested. Alex was dry & didn't appear

to have been swimming.

" No," he replied," I'm not much of a swimmer."

Ami giggled. " I could teach you. I love to swim." She put down her

physics book.

Alex saw the book.

" You sure got a lot of discipline, Ami," he picked up the book and

skimmed threw it," Are you always this studious?"

Just then a loud scream could be heard from outside. Alex & Ami

looked out the window to see Mamoru throwing Usagi into the lake. Usagi was

screaming and the other girls splashed water on her. Ami was glad her friends

were having a good time.

" Mamoru's girl sure is a hyper one," Alex commented, " I don't go

for girls like her. I like girls that are smart and beautiful. Just like you

Ami."

At the word "Beautiful" Ami's face turned a deep red.

" Um... I'm not beautiful, Alex" Ami didn't know what to say. Just

then Alex took Ami's chin in his hand and kissed her softly on the lips. Ami

couldn't believe it! Her first kiss! It felt so strange yet exciting at the

same time. Ami was so happy she never felt strange when Alex started to take

off his clothes. The only thing Ami had on her mind was that now someone

loved her! She felt like a normal teenage girl in love! She wasn't alone any

more. She didn't care what she had to do next, as long as Alex loved her.

Alex made love to Ami very gently since it was her first time. Ami felt so in

love.

When Alex was done with Ami that night, he kissed her cheek.

" Good night my sweet, sweet Ami. I love you". Ami fell asleep with a big

smile on her face. Little did Ami know what she was getting herself

involved in.

NOT hentai. It just contains a few "adult" scenes. It's rated R. Also just

because Ami & Alex had sex at the end doesn't not mean Ami is pregnant, just

in case you think that's what is going to happen.
